Our Mission

The Harford County Food Bank Farm is a 501(c )(3) Non-Profit organization located at Kent Meadows Farm in Havre de Grace, Maryland. The Food Bank Farm is a joint venture with The Harford County Food Bank located in Edgewood, Maryland.

Harford County Food Bank Farm's mission is to grow fresh produce and strengthen the food supply in our local community, while making it available to everyone. In Harford County, over 29,000 people face food insecurity. We are dedicated to supplying The Food Bank and local food pantries with our first and our best produce.

Our Values

Quality

We deliver quality, ensuring our neighbors in need receive our first and best. Harvests and deliveries are managed to deliver the absolute freshest produce possible.

Clean & Organically grown

We grow using organic, regenerative methods to ensure sustainability. We never spray chemicals on the farm, and only use products to fight pests and disease that are approved for organic farming.

Partnership & Choice

The produce that we grow is donated to the Harford County Food Bank, and food pantries throughout Harford County. Working together with the Food Bank allows us to develop a growing plan that provides our neighbors in need with choice, empowering them to feed their families with foods they like.

2025 - 10,824 pounds of food!

In 2025, we were able to deliver 10,824 pounds of food to Harford County food pantries.

The produce delivered and shared was several types of tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, a variety of peppers, eggplant, and everyone's favorite... watermelon!

Our goals for this season

In 2026, we are increasing production, and delivering more food throughout Harford County to those in need.

We will be dedicating several of the fields at Kent Meadows Farm for harvest for the Food Bank Farm.

With your help, we will increase the amount of dedicated field space, and grow more food!
